Maria Sharapova advanced to the 4th round at the US Open on Friday night in a match that lasted almost two hours and well beyond midnight in New York. Sharapova defeated Sabine Lisicki in straight sets, 6-2, 6-4. The 5th-seeded Sharapova will face Caroline Wozniacki in the next round.
After her victory on Friday night, she was interviewed by ESPN on court. One of the questions Maria was asked was about what she planned to do in her post-match routine now that it was so late, and she listed off a few things such as getting a massage and the mandatory media session.
