Isaiah Austin is a 20-year-old former college basketball player at Baylor who was prepared to be drafted at tonight's NBA draft until he was recently diagnosed with Marfan syndrome:

Isaiah Austin’s career in competitive basketball ended suddenly last week when he was diagnosed with Marfan syndrome, an inherited disorder that affects the heart, eyes, skeleton, and circulatory center, according to the Mayo Clinic’s website.

The NBA honored him during the draft tonight as Commissioner Adam Silver drafted Austin on behalf of the NBA. The video can be seen here.
