Nail Yakupov of the Edmonton Oilers teamed up with Dairy Queen in Sherwood Park, Alberta on Thursday August 14, as part of an annual fundraising event called Miracle Treat Day. All proceeds from Miracle Treat Day go to the Children's Miracle Network (CMN), which is, according to Wikipedia (where I get all my important information) "an international non-profit organization that raises funds for children's hospitals, medical research and community awareness of children's health issues."

Video of Yakupov at DQ and doing various strange, Yakupov-like things can be found at the Edmonton Oilers official website. Yakupov signed autographs - including a cake - and served ice cream.
