Top-seeded Novak Djokovic had the fear of god put into him in his second round match versus 35-year-old Czech Radek Stepanek after Stepanek refused to go away and Djokovic struggled to put him away, losing a third set tiebreaker and nearly losing the fourth set tiebreaker. The match was exciting and showed excellent sportsmanship from both, as the older Stepanek gave it everything he had - and it showed. His reactions were enjoyable - or heart-wrenching at times - and it ultimately ended in a challenge of a Djokovic winner. The challenge showed the ball was in, and Djokovic won the tiebreaker and therefore the match, but Stepanek's reaction to the ball straddling the line on that last point was priceless:

Djokovic won the match 6-4, 6-3, 6-7, 7-6. The match stats show that in many aspects of the game, the two were very close. And perhaps that's why at times, Djokovic seemed worried and tense, and incredibly relieved when he won big points - more than you'd expect from a number 1 seed in a second round match.

Djokovic will face Gilles Simon in the next round.

Upon the conclusion of the match, the two shared a moment of mutual respect that reminds us that some athletes are pretty great people. Djokovic and Stepanek walked off of the court together. Here are some more choice reaction GIFs:
