The Los Angeles Kings won their first playoff overtime game on home ice in over 13 years. The last time was May 6, 2001 in Game 6 of the Conference Semi-Final versus the Colorado Avalanche. The double overtime goal, scored by Glen Murray, forced a Game 7, which the Avalanche won. Obviously. The Avs went on to win the glorious Stanley Cup, the first and only for the magnificent Ray Bourque.
